本作は、ジャンルを超えて活躍するジャズトランペットの鬼才・類家心平が、トランペット1本で挑んだキャリア初のソロプレイ集です。生音の美しい音色を活かしたアコースティックサウンドから、サンプラー経由のデジタルビートを駆使した現代的なサウンドまで、多彩なサウンドがグラデーションをもって連続しています。収録場所は東京・南青山の岡本太郎のアトリエで、ライヴ録音と同様の“一発録り”です。トランペットの豊かな表現力とさらなる可能性を感じていただける作品になりました。
 
This is the first solo work by Shinpei Ruike, a jazz trumpeter who is active across genres, in his career. From acoustic sounds that make the most of the instrument's beautiful tone to modern sounds with digital beats via a sampler, a variety of sounds are played in succession with gradations. The recording location was Taro Okamoto's atelier, which is preserved at the Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum, Tokyo, and it was recorded in one take, just like a live recording. This is a work that allows you to feel the rich expressiveness and further possibilities of the trumpet.
