At the age of 87, this is the first new album in 8 years by guitar legend Kazuhiko Takeda, who continues to be at the forefront of the Japanese jazz scene. With longtime co-star bassist Yoshiro Kanda, they play simple standards in a relaxed atmosphere. The two maestros who know each other well have created the best blues and ballads based on the heart of singing.
